At my school, seniors have to do two weeks of community service. The second week, I was assigned to Alfonzo Perez Elementary School, which is many a school for children who are mentally disabled. This adorable little girl is Andy Dorey. She was born normal, but her mother was very young and inexperienced. So when Andy Dorey was sick and needed medicine, she decided to let her sleep for a while before giving it to her. However, Andy Dorey didn't wake up for a very long time, and by the time her mother took her to the hospital, her fever had already done it's damage. Andy Dorey can't walk or talk, but she is a very happy, smiley little girl who loves to laugh and is easily startled by loud noises.
